The main idea behind the design of the office was using colour as a means of wayfinding as well as to create the feeling of compression and expansion throughout the space. By using different colours to identify different functions for spaces, it indicates to both clients and employees what each area is meant to be used for.

 

The experience of compression and expansion happens as you move through the hallway from the first set of workstations to the second. The ceilings in the first area are much lower, which creates more of an impact when moving between the spaces. This experience also happens when walking through the pipe to enter and exit the pitch room.
