Textil Haus is a space created to inspire, create, learn and exhibit textiles. Located in the old Hespeler Post office, this unique environment will bring Hespeler’s history with textiles back to the community. The building is designed to become a creative place highlighting knitting, quilting and weaving.

 

The idea is to exhibit a featured artist’s work, and also provide public engagement with the studio workshops located on each floor of the building. The studio workshops will be a place where the featured artist can efficiently work on their art and host seminars. In addition to the artist using the space, the studio is a place for both tourist engagement and community involvement.
